Another Snow Day

After spending yesterday painting the new shelves I can really use this snow day. Hopefully I'll have more fiberly things to report.

We didn't get much snow, as witnessed below

but the majority of it came so late that the secondary roads were just a mess.

Off to play.

Matt worked for 5 years at Princeton Day School, which closes at the first flake of snow. They have lots of kids who are >1 hr drive away, so I think the logic is that many of them wouldn't show up in bad weather anyway. Anyway, he would eagerly stare into the sky every school night and chant, "Snow Day! Snow Day!" I guess no matter what the age, everyone loves an unexpected day at home!
