Catherine gave me a tip - use rubber bands on the treadles. So I put rubber bands on treadles 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. Then I realized that I had the third treadle tied up wrong. Then I saw that there were two twisted threads. Finally I was able to weave several repeats and things were looking good - or so I thought.
Too bad about the mistake! Do you unweave, or just scroll it down and start anew?

Posted by: vanessa at May 4, 2005 10:01 AMOh no! How long did it take to warp and weave that far?

That's a wrong threading? I think you can fix that with not too much effort, no? Best luck to you, otherwise the color and pattern are gorgeous!!
Oh Charleen, I'm so sorry this happened. As you know, weaving is something that I'm working up my nerve to learn...how do you fix this?
