I'm glad that having necessary info you had forgotten you had doesn't happen just to me!
I, too, raise the back of the loom, but I do it by keeping the raddle on it. This way I can remove the lease sticks. The raddle makes it fairly easy to follow a broken warp thead.
I'm glad your eye is better. That basketweave/twill tip was excellent! So simple, and yet I'd never have thought of it.

Maybe soon I can get back to floor loom weaving and actually procure things like this for fun projects.
I also will tie a red string and weights, to see how my sheds are looking, for curiosity's sake if nothing else :).
